Our Mission

"At Panyame, our mission is to create a sanctuary where the splendour of nature and the spirit of adventure coalesce, fostering an environment of luxury, conservation, and community enrichment. Nestled in the heart of Tete Province, Mozambique, we are committed to preserving the rich biodiversity of this vast expanse of African wilderness. Our goal is to protect and sustain the diverse wildlife species and natural habitats within our borders.

We strive to empower local communities through sustainable development initiatives, ensuring that the benefits of ecotourism are shared and contribute to the well-being of those who call this land home. Through education, conservation programs, and responsible tourism practices, we aim to be a global leader in demonstrating how humans and nature can thrive together.

Our vision is to be a haven where the beauty of the African landscape can be appreciated in harmony with the principles of environmental stewardship and community development. By balancing luxury with sustainability, Panyame Conservancy aspires to not only be a destination for world-class eco-tourism but also a beacon of hope and inspiration for conservation efforts worldwide."

Wildlife Sanctuary

UNTAMED & UNTOUCHED

Panyame is home to the largest wildlife population in western Mozambique, making it a critical sanctuary for various species. This remarkable ecosystem faces numerous challenges, including poaching, deforestation due to slash-and-burn agriculture, charcoal production, and illegal fishing. All our conservation efforts are dedicated to safeguarding these precious natural treasures.

This partnership not only enriches the local community but also empowers them to actively participate in the conservation and management of the area.
