Our Story

This is just the start.

Panyame
Community Conservancy

The Panyame Wildlife Conservancy was formed in 1993 and is situated in Magoe District of Mozambique’s Tete Province. Sprawling across over 200 thousand hectares, this biodiverse ecosystem borders Zimbabwe and Zambia. Its northern edge meets with over 60 kilometres of Zambezi river and Lake Cahora Bassa;  a stunning backdrop for eco-tourism and wildlife photography. This, over and above the already magnificent Zambezi Valley type vegetation, ranging from Cathedral Mopane and Jesse Bush to riverine forests

and alluvial flood plains, supporting a healthy population of wildlife including four of the big five (No Rhinos)

The Conservancy is classified as a Community Conservation Area. This harmonious blend of luxury safari, environmental stewardship, and community involvement makes the Panyame Wildlife Conservancy a shining example of sustainable eco-tourism, preserving the delicate balance of nature while providing an unforgettable experience for its visitors.
