While sitting on the veranda, a mere stone's throw away from the river, one can get lost in the surroundings. Monkeys, warthogs, and a range of antelope frequent the camp's lush green lawns - on occasion, the unsuspecting victims of leopard and lion!
After a long day's activities, when sitting around the Panyame campfire which overlooks the river, one experiences a feeling which is truly unique to the wildest, most remote places on the African continent.

Nestled along the banks of the Zambezi River, our five private stone and thatch chalets offer unparalleled views of the majestic mountains in Zumbo district. Designed with polished concrete floors, stone walls, and thatched roofs, each chalet seamlessly blends into the surrounding landscape, emphasising privacy and connection to nature.
Our lodge, an open-plan sanctuary, extends onto lush lawns adorned with a fire pit and an inviting rim-flow swimming pool. Inside, a cosy dining area and a library with plush couches and a grand wood fireplace create a tranquil space for anytime of day. Right at the edge of the bank our bar boasts panoramic views of the river and Mount Zumbo, offering breathtaking vistas that define the essence of a Panyame experience.
